Junior Aquarist: Sleepover Edition is a one-of-a-kind overnight adventure at Aquaria KLCC where kids (and parents!) get to experience the real work of an aquarist: caring for marine animals, testing water quality, observing behaviours, and even preparing meals for sea creatures.

It’s more than just a sleepover — it’s a chance to step into the shoes of a marine expert and spark your child’s love for ocean life through hands-on discovery and unforgettable memories.

Step into a 2D1N exclusive family experience inside the aquarium, where parents and kids get to discover the fascinating world of marine life after hours. Through specially curated activities and guided exploration, families will bond, learn, and create unforgettable memories — all within the magical setting of Aquaria KLCC.

Junior Aquarist Itinerary

Day 1

7.00 pm	Arrival Welcome to your underwater sleepover adventure!
7.10 pm	Aquarist 101 Get the lowdown on what it takes to care for marine life.
7.30 pm	Feast for the Fins Feed our local fish and discover what keeps them happy and healthy!
7.45 pm	Dinner A hearty meal serve in bento style before your deep-sea dreams begin.
8.15 pm	H2-Oh! Check Become a junior scientist as you test and explore what keeps our ocean habitat just right.
9.00 pm	Reef Reporter Touch, observe, and report on sea creatures like a real marine explorer!
10.00 pm	Tent Setup & Wash Up Pitch your tent and get ready for a cozy ocean-side sleepover.
10.30 pm	Lights off Goodnight from the deep blue sea.

Day 2

7.00 am	Wake Up & Pack Down Rise and shine! Time to dismantle tents and get ready for the day.
8.00 am	Breakfast with the Waves Fuel up with a yummy breakfast before more splashes.
8.30 am	Morning tour Start the day with a guided walk and discover amazing sea creatures around the aquarium.
9.00 am	Scrub & Splash Join the aquarist crew to help clean exhibits and learn about tank care!
9.30 am	Chef of the Sea Chop, sort, and prepare meals for our aquatic friends — just like a sea-life chef.
10.00 am	Junior Aquarists, Signing Off End your underwater adventure with fin-tastic memories, new skills, and a deeper love for our oceans — until we meet again!

Note: Activities and schedule may be adjusted based on on-site conditions for the best experience. Tent locations will be allocated randomly — every spot is a good spot for memories

Terms & Conditions

In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters) or if the number of participants does not meet the required minimum, GogoKids will promptly contact participants to arrange for rescheduling or a refund.

Rescheduling is permitted with at least 2 weeks’ notice prior to the activity date. With multiple slots available year-round, children will have ample opportunities to enjoy this enriching learning experience.

To respect the time of instructors and other participants, attendees must arrive on time for the scheduled session. Late arrivals may miss key activities and disrupt the experience.

We had a wonderful time!! Experience was great for us. Couldn’t really sleep because it was just so amazing to watch the sea life at night. Only downside was the dinner food. For kids, chilli should not be use ever! My kids was hungry. We would love to come again.

It was great! My kids really enjoyed the experience, especially getting to sleep with the sharks and turtle. The activities were fun and engaging as well. The only feedback I have is about the dinner. The spaghetti was quite spicy, so the kids couldn't eat it. The breakfast was fine, though. As for the last activity, where the kids cut the fish, I personally felt it was a bit too bloody for young children. Perhaps next time, organizer could prepare fish fillets instead, so the kids can cut them into cubes or mince them. I think that would be more suitable for their age while still allowing them to learn the skill. It would also help reduce food wastage. Overall, the experience was unique and valuable—not just for the kids, but for us parents as well. A little off topic, towards the end of the program, one of the crew members asked the kids to "clock in" and work as aquarists the next day. My younger daughter took it very seriously and asked me, "So... are we coming back again tomorrow?" It was such a cute and memorable moment! ☺️☺️ Thank you for having such a wonderful program

1) Hot food preferable 2) Not single use tableware would be more preferable, we may wash them among family members 3) No spicy food for kids pls 4) Hopefully can have some times to hang ard the aquarium after camp hours so that we can do revision for what we learn 5) Printed name on certificate would be more presentable 6) Kids expect to feed fishes 🤭 7) Learning content is good just there may be still some strengthen space 8) All the involved staffs are so nice and knowledgeable and happy to hang around with us Overall we enjoy the trip 😊
